Last Friday, under the golden light of an Orange Hill sunset, we marked a significant milestone for Soho SoCal. It was my distinct honor to host our inaugural exclusive event: “Where AI Intelligence Meets Human Wisdom.” When I founded Soho SoCal, my vision was to create a platform that offers more than just financial guidance—I wanted to build a community where professionals and investors could navigate the complexities of the modern world with “Quiet Confidence.” Last week, we did exactly that.
The evening brought together a brilliant cohort of leaders from the real estate, finance, and estate planning sectors. As we overlooked the sprawling landscape of Orange County, our conversation turned toward a landscape that is shifting even faster: The AI Revolution.
We explored how artificial intelligence is no longer a distant “future” concept but a present-day tool that is actively reshaping how we manage assets, protect legacies, and build communities.
One of the most profound takeaways from our discussion was the distinction between knowledge and wisdom.
- Knowledge is the vast ocean of information we learn and gather.
- Wisdom is our uniquely human ability to discover something new, to empathize, and to apply that knowledge with moral and strategic intent.
While AI can process knowledge at lightning speed, it is the Human Wisdom—our collective experiences, ethics, and intuition—that provides the compass. At Soho SoCal, we believe the future belongs to those who can master both.
Turning Vision into Reality
A highlight of the evening was a seamless demonstration by Brendan Ryan, showcasing the capabilities of Claude. It made one truth crystal clear: the path to turning our intangible ideas into material products and services is shorter than it has ever been. With an AI boost, our ability to serve our clients with precision and speed is reaching unprecedented levels.
I am so happy that this first event hosted by Soho SoCal provided tangible value and sparked such meaningful connections. To the investors and professionals who attended: your curiosity and commitment to excellence are what make our community resilient.
I want to extend a special thank you to those who helped make the dialogue so rich: Kate Hoang, Bonnie Brown (CPM, CCIM), Benson Truong, Karley Dinh, Thuy Tran, Franck Bideau, Thomas Tran, and Martin Le.
This is only the beginning. As we move forward, Soho SoCal will continue to be a bridge—connecting you to the latest innovations while keeping you grounded in the timeless principles of wealth stewardship.
Let’s keep connecting. Let’s keep investing. And most importantly, let’s keep leading with wisdom.
